The GirlsGottaKnow Mobile App is here!

The GirlsGottaKnow Mobile App provides general legal information to young women between 14-24 years of age.

GirlsGottaKnow has been developed by Women’s Legal Service over the last six months to provide a one-stop destination for young women with legal enquiries.

In developing the App we found that many young women did not have a reliable source of general legal information and that they were not engaging frequently with our service through our 1800 free legal advice number. This led us to investigate other ways of appealing to this target audience.

On 8th April 2013 we launched the GirlsGottaknow App at Salamanca Inn. We were fortunate to have The Hon. Julie Collins MP – Minister for the Status of Women to launch the App.

This website has a “quick exit” button near the top right-hand corner of each page. This button will close the Women’s Legal Service website and open the Bureau of Meteorology website. The button may be helpful if you are worried that you are being monitored and you are concerned that someone is about to find you looking at this site.

However, the quick close button will not delete your browser history. This means that if the person checks your browser history they will be able to see that you have visited this website.

If someone is monitoring your online activity using spyware or monitoring devices, they will still be able to see that you have visited this website.
