National Relay Service (NRS)

The National Relay Service (NRS) is an Australia-wide phone service for people who have hearing or speech difficulties.  NRS can help you contact Women’s Legal Service Tasmania, stay in touch and get things done.

You can initiate a call or receive a call by going through the NRS website here. When you initiate a call through the NRS, a relay officer will initially answer your call, then contact us on your behalf.  If you are unable to hear, the relay officer can listen to the response from us and type it back for you to read.  All calls made through the NRS are confidential, and relay officers must respect your privacy.

Further information and NRS contact details can be obtained from the National Relay Service information page.
